久違了的文藝

I have received a fair bit of formal training and I even got an A for Art at A-levels. But I wouldn't call myself an artist. However, I do like to think outside the box, I do like to observe and watch people, I do enjoy being in nostalgia.
When I started Midlife Wonders, I knew I wanted to rekindle with this side of me. Career and a generally hectic lifestyle has put a halt to this. Painting was what I had in mind, but now I realised I miss the art of words, especially the sophisticated Chinese words, even more.
So I decided, the first form of art will be expressed with words from my mother tongue: traditional Chinese. I even tried to read and learn all about these Chinese poems, but not entirely successful with it. Maybe 詩情 and 畫意 will only come when you have accumulated enough flavours in life.
Slightly embarrassed, I wrote a "poem" when I was 15 and thought I will put it up here so that I can document down my 少女情懷。 Didn't we all have that?
問花花不語,
舉目千里遊。
願結長風相廝守,
願結長空覓鄉愁。
